The Waiting Room
March 2012
Do you remember some of your most frustrating waiting room experiences? What was it that frustrated you the most? During the course of our lives, we sometimes find ourselves making "detours" into waiting rooms in order to get a pain, need or problem addressed. As we wait...and wait...and wait...we find ourselves with one primary desire--to get out of the waiting room. Interestingly, not only do we find ourselves in waiting rooms that are physical in nature, but sometimes even find that we are in what appears to be God's waiting room. In the middle of our unmet needs and pains we cry out to God and long for him to intervene and move us back to living life outside of the waiting room. During our waiting room experiences with God we often struggle with our hope and faith. Thankfully, God speaks to us through the lives and stories of others in order to encourage us.
Come and enjoy the relaxed, friendly atmosphere where people accept you for who you are.
