Life With God

In today's technologically driven world, anyone can quickly learn information about people around the world. As a result, many of us begin to act and think like we actually know them personally, but in truth, we only know about them. The same is true for many of us when it comes to God. Many people know stories and truths about God but feel as if they really don't know God. Have you ever felt like your experience with God is one that has "highs" and "lows?" Times where God is so close that you feel his presence so easily but other times where he feels distant? Have you ever wondered what changed or what is missing in these times with God? Eternal Life are two words that are stated frequently each Sunday at churches around the world. These were also two words that Jesus stated on numerous occasions during his life and ministry. When you hear these words mentioned today, what images or concepts first come to mind? What do you believe Jesus meant when he stated that he came to offer eternal life to the world?
